ROMERO POLO REPRÈN LES OBRES DE MILLORA DE L’AUTOVIA A-2 A CERVERA

Romero Polo is repairing the road surface of the A-2 highway as it passes through Cervera, one of the roads with the highest volume of traffic in the Lleida area. These works were resumed in mid-March between mileposts 514 and 522,270.

The Spanish Government sub-delegate in Lleida, José Crespín, and other local authorities, together with Romero Polo’s managers, visited the works on March 13, coinciding with the inauguration of the new phase of this project.

This work belongs to a series of improvements covering a stretch of approximately 9 kilometers of the road. The first phase of the works consists of improving the road surface of the side roads and the access branches of this bypass to Cervera. Its execution budget, financed by the Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, is 10.27 million euros. The same Ministry has already intervened in both directions of the roadway of this road last year, and also plans to continue with other similar works in the coming months.
