ROMERO POLO URBANISES THE BONÀREA INDUSTRIAL ESTATE IN ÉPILA (ZARAGOZA)

Romero Polo is carrying out the urban development work of the bonÀrea Group’s new agri-food complex in the municipality of Épila (Zaragoza). The macro-project consists of adapting 180 hectares of land for the implementation of several units that will turn the centre into a key point for the company from Guissona.

On this land, bonÀrea intends to locate a large logistics centre (the first to enter service in 2022), poultry and pork slaughterhouses, as well as a bakery, a frozen food plant and a final plant for packaging different products. A whole agri-food area which, when it is operational before 2030, is expected to employ around 4,000 people.

This industrial zone will be accompanied by a Mega-Area of services, which will include a supermarket, a buffet restaurant with capacity for 380 diners and an agro-centre, focused on specific products for agriculture and livestock. Next to the facilities, a large service area will be built with a petrol station and a car wash area, which Romero Polo will also build.
