ROMERO POLO AND EDISON NEXT TO RENOVATE LLEIDA’S PUBLIC LIGHTING UNTIL 2037

The joint venture formed by Romero Polo and Edison Next, under the name UTE Lleida Llum Renovació, has secured the contract for the comprehensive renovation of public lighting in the municipality of Lleida. The project will remain in effect until the year 2037.

The works include tasks related to the conservation, maintenance, improvement, and renovation of lighting installations, as well as other associated auxiliary systems. The contract also covers the management of periodic inspections, the prevention and repair of breakdowns, and the execution of scheduled interventions.

To ensure an efficient, safe, and high-quality service, UTE Lleida Llum Renovació will implement LED technology, remote management systems, and smart city solutions aimed at sustainability and energy efficiency.

With this contract award, Lleida takes a decisive step towards becoming a more efficient, modern, and environmentally committed city, reinforcing its commitment to a sustainable urban infrastructure adapted to future challenges.
