ROMERO POLO ONE OF THE COMPANIES IN CHARGE OF THE WORKS OF THE NEW ART MUSEUM OF LLEIDA

The City Council of Lleida has awarded the reforms of the new Art Museum of Lleida, which will be renamed Museo Morera, to the Temporary Union of Companies (UTE) formed by Romero Polo, together with Benito, Arnó and Acsa. The works of the project of reform of the new museum that will be located in what was the Audience of Lleida, a historical and emblematic building for the city, will begin this coming autumn and will have a term of execution of 25 months. The budget is 4.4 million euros.

The project has been prepared by the municipal architect, Jaume Terés and the director of the Museum, Jesús Navarro. With a very modern conception, the reform contemplates the creation of modular and flexible rooms, which will allow a permanent reconfiguration of the exhibition of works. The last floor will have an open room of 550 meters and a large terrace of 200 square meters with views of the Seu Vella.
