ROMERO POLO REINFORCES ITS COMMITMENT TO BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH BY RENEWING ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH IRBLLEIDA

Romero Polo has formalised the renewal of its partnership agreement with the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica de Lleida (IRBLleida), thereby consolidating its support for scientific and health-related work in the region. This strategic partnership enables the institute to continue advancing its mission to promote, develop, manage and disseminate biomedical research in Lleida, a cornerstone for improving quality of life and advancing modern medicine.

As part of its commitment to social innovation, Romero Polo collaborates on technology projects applied to healthcare. A notable example is the funding, which began in late 2023, of a virtual reality tool developed in partnership with IRBLleida, Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital and the University of Lleida. This immersive technology, which recreates natural environments within the hospital itself, is designed to combat stress and burnout amongst future healthcare professionals, opening up new avenues for workplace wellbeing in the sector.
