ROMERO POLO WILL BUILD IN A JOINT VENTURE WITH SORIGUÉ AND DRAGADOS THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SHOPPING PROMENADE LLEIDA COMPLEX

Romero Polo has been selected by the developers Eurofund Group and Frey to form part of the joint venture that will carry out the complete construction of the Shopping Promenade Lleida shopping centre. This complex will be built on a site covering 56,000 square metres in the Torre Salses area.

The joint venture, led by local firms Romero Polo and Sorigué alongside Dragados, will cover all phases of the construction project, from initial earthworks and site foundation to the building of structures, the installation of façades and roofs, and the interior fit-out of the complex. The project will culminate in an extensive landscaping phase, including the creation of car parks and the development of over 20,000 square metres of green spaces with the planting of nearly a thousand trees, ensuring the centre blends seamlessly into its surroundings.

Designed to strict energy efficiency standards, the new retail park will act as an economic driver for the region. It is estimated that during peak periods, the project will employ 300 workers simultaneously, with priority given to hiring local professionals and companies. Once operational by the end of 2027, the centre will generate 1,400 jobs, strengthening the city of Lleida’s leisure, hospitality and retail offering.
