THE CLIMATE MUSEUM FINALIST IN THE ‘XI BIAU’

The Climate Museum in Lleida, designed by the architecture studio Toni Gironès and executed by the Romero Polo group, is one of the 32 finalist works at the XI edition of the Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture & Urbanism (BIAU), which will take place in October this year in Asunción (Paraguay).

The Climate Museum in Lleida has been selected as a finalist from a total of almost 1,000 architecture and urban planning projects built all over Spain and Latin America. The construction, of about 36,000m², consists of an outdoor experience where the weather is the real protagonist.

The museum at a whole captures the climatic processes through natural materials that allow constant contact with the environment.
