ROMERO POLO EXPANDS THE HOSPITAL ARNAU DE VILANOVA OF LLEIDA

Romero Polo will expands the Surgical Block of the Hospital Arnau de Vilanova of Lleida (Huav), after the project was awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya to the UTE formed by Romero Polo, Acsa and Obras e Infraestructuras, last April.

The new surgical area includes a reform area of 4,195 square meters and an extension area of 4,547 square meters. The action will be carried out on the third floor of building II of the Huav, and the fourth floor will be dedicated to air conditioning equipment and premises for installations.

This new equipment between the buildings I, III and the teaching unit will allow a future expansion of the second floor. In addition, it also provides for outdoor development, which includes outdoor lighting for the area, new paving and assessment of rainwater.

The works will be carried out in two phases in order to allow the simultaneous development of the work and health care. The first phase will take place in 37 months, while the second phase has a period of 13 months. The total budget for this project is 12.3 million euros.
